3. State Objective
• Students will distinguish beat poetry and
create their own beat poem by using
computers to complete a webquest about the
Beat Era of Poetry. Students be assessed on
answer accuracy (90%) throughout the
webquest and how well they apply their
knowledge of Beat poetry into their own beat
poem. Also, they will be assessed on their use
of audiovisual presentation of their poem.

• Use computers to complete webquest on
Zunal
• Write beat poem
• Perform beat poem by:
– Making and calling Voki
– Making and editing a video for Youtube
• Submit project by uploading it to the teacher
email
– If using Youtube, submit QR code as link
7. Evaluate and Revise
• Assessment
– Students will be assessed by accuracy of webquest
answers, integration of beat poetry knowledge
into their created and performed poem.
