Pricing Policy
ShopClues helps seller sell products online where they pay only when they get the
order. ShopClues.com offers digital marketing programs and cost-effective delivery
services that have a reach of more than a million consumers worldwide. Sellers can
create an effective and scalable online store without recurring cost.
Trust is the most important aspect of trade between buyers and sellers in
marketplace and one of the key aspects of trust is fair pricing. For healthy
transaction flow at ShopClues.com, we ask our sellers to price the items
responsibly. We are constantly monitor prices for each seller at various channels
and do not allow sellers to price their items at higher prices at ShopClues.com vs.
other channels such as own retail store, own Website (if any) or any other 3rd party
retail stores or Websites. Therefore, price of items sold at ShopClues.com should be
same as or even lower than the lowest rate sold elsewhere, but it should not be
more. Violation of our pricing policy will result into warning notices and can also
result into store suspension.

Maximum Retail Price means such price at which the product shall be sold in retail
and such price shall include all taxes levied on the product the price to be rounded
off to the nearest rupee or 50 paise.
• The Maximum Retail Price is inclusive of all taxes and a Seller can sell at a price
below the MRP.
• Sellers shall not declare different MRPs on an identical prepacked commodity. For
example, a product manufactured by the same manufacture and having same
specifications can not have different MRP.
• It is now mandatory to list products along with the prevalent MRP.
The MRP Breach Policy states that a seller cannot list a product at a higher selling
price on the Website than that of the MRP mentioned on the label of the product.
And a product with same specifications can not have different MRP.

Please note the trust build with buyers will go away if sellers artificially start
showing higher MRP, so that the selling price appears to be much better deal vs.
what it actually is. Artificially increasing MRP is strictly prohibited at ShopClues.com
and is also an Offence under the Indian Law, the contravention of which carries a
criminal lability.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including but not limited to
the following:
• Listing cancellation
• Store suspension
• Limits on account privileges
• Loss of Top Rated Merchant status
