Project 1: 27W, 35W CFL Design
Description: This project includes the development and design of 27W HPF CFL driver .
Role & Responsibilities:
• Selection of Component having best characteristics in terms of operation and life suitability.
• Development of the efficient design for better performance with high efficiency and thermal
operation.
• Selection and validation of components.
• Ensure the best PCB layout, having shortest power path.
• Ensure the EMI/EMC compatibility.
Learning’s: EMI/EMC test requires numbers of iteration which helps to study about the filters. As
this project we get to know about the different topologies of the CFL operations.
Project2: Low wattage LED Bulbs
Description: This project includes the development and design a cost effective Low wattage HPF LED
Bulb(5W,7W,9W,12W) drivers.
Role and Responsibilities:
 Selection of IC and other component in terms of better operation.

3.  Selecting a cost effective solution.
 Proper thermal management of the LED module.
 Selection & optimization of no. Of LED and their combination to achieve better lumen
efficacy.
 To develop the design for easier assembly and robust design for smoother productivity.
