(The bedouins tell you that) you owe them (a great deal) for
their embracing Islam. Tell them, “You are not doing me any
favors by embracing Islam. In fact, it is God who has done you a
great favor by guiding you to the faith. (Think about this) if you
are people of truth.”

4. NOT A FAVOUR - LESSONS TO LEARN
1. Being guided to and accepting Islam is a great blessing from Allah
and is a debt which we owe to Allah. ( بلهَّللاهیمن )
2. Allah has no need of the submission, faith or worship of His servants.
( واالتمنهعلى )

5. NOT A FAVOUR - LESSONS TO LEARN
3. The sign of true faith is that the individual considers themselves as
owing a huge debt to Allah; not that they feel that Allah owes them
something! ( واالتمن...بلهَّللاهیمن...انكنتمصادقین )
4. Placing any burden on the Prophet is, in actuality, the same as
placing that same burden on Allah and this is seen when Allah
replies that the people would place the burden on the Prophet as if
they are actually placing it on Allah. ( ونیمنعلیك...بلهَّللاهیمن )

6. NOT A FAVOUR - LESSONS TO LEARN
5. By the believers accepting Islam, they have placed this heavy debt on their own
selves ( ونیمنعلیكاناسلموا ) whereas Allah has taken you a step further in guiding
you to true faith. ( هداكملالیمان )
6. The final goal in the human perfection on the human being is true faith ( هداكم
)لالیمان – not just a mere outward show of Islam as even the hypocrites have the
outward show of Islam.

God knows whatever is unseen in the heavens and in the earth.
He is Well Aware of what you do.

8. THE KNOWLEDGE OF ALLAH
1. In the skies and the earth, there are many unknown secrets. ( هانهّللایعلمغیب
السمواتواالرض )
2. Sometimes, the hidden motives of the human being are even more complex
than the hidden mysteries of the skies and the earth. In regards to the skies,
the word ‘He Knows’ has been used (;)یعلم while in regards to the actions of the
human being, the word ‘He Sees’ has been used (.)بصیر

9. THE KNOWLEDGE OF ALLAH
3. In the orbit of monotheism (tawheed), the value of a person is all based on the
apparent – they are not mere slogans; rather, they are in accordance with
sincerity of the heart and sometimes, this is specifically reserved for Allah as it
is only He who knows the hidden of the unseen and the seen realities – so
then how can He not know our inner core? ( هانهَّللایعلمغیبالسمواتواالرض )

10. THE KNOWLEDGE OF ALLAH
4. If an individual has true faith in the knowledge and complete awareness of
Allah, then he would be extremely careful in all of their actions – as if we know
that daily, our entire lives are being filmed or that our daily speech is being
recorded, then we would definitely be careful of what we say and what we do.
( هوّللابصیربماتعملون )
5. The knowledge of Allah is alongside His deep discernment of us. His
knowledge is not brief, superficial, one-sided, questionable or temporary. ( انهَّللا
یعلم...هَوّللابصیر )
