“O my son! Even if it [the good or bad deed] should be the
weight of a mustard seed, and [even though] it should be in
a rock or in the heavens or in the earth, God will bring it
forth. Indeed God is all-attentive [and precise], all-aware.”
4. Surah Luqman
Verse 16
Vastness of this Earth is still
unknown to us – even if we know
its ‘dimensions’ and other physical
traits. Universe is even more vast
than this Earth and even today,
science is discovering more and
more in outer space!
5. Surah Luqman
Verse 16
Astronomers realized that the
ways that we measure on Earth
(meters, kilometers, etc…) would
not work so the speed of light
was devised – the speed at which
light travels which is 300,000
kilometers per second.
6. Surah Luqman
Verse 16
The Sun is such a distance
from earth that the light we
are seeing at any given
time took over 8 minutes to
reach us!
7. Surah Luqman
Verse 16
With a universe so grand,
Allah still says if an act, the
size of a mustard seed was to
be hidden, HE would bring it
forth or produce it.
8. 1. Physical Manifestation of our Deeds
On the Day of Accounts, our deeds will take a physical shape:

On the Day when that [hoarded wealth] shall be heated
in the fire of hell and their foreheads and their sides
and their backs branded therewith, [those sinners shall
be told:] "These are the treasures which you have
saved up for yourselves! Taste, then, [the evil of] your
hoarded treasures!“ 9:35
Surah Luqman
9. 2. Actions becoming ‘present’ on the Resurrection
On the Day of Accounts, our deeds will take a physical shape:

“The Book will be set up. Then you will see the guilty
apprehensive of what is in it. They will say, ‘Woe to
us! What a book is this! It omits nothing, big or
small, without enumerating it.’ They will find present
whatever they had done, and your Lord does not
wrong anyone.” (18:49)
Surah Luqman
10. 3. Seeing the repercussions of our deeds
Sooner or later, we will see the outcome of what we did
– good and bad:

“Whoever acts righteously, [whether] male or
female, should he be faithful, —We shall revive
him with a good life and pay them their reward
by the best of what they used to do.” (16:97)
Surah Luqman
11. Surah Luqman
Lessons to Learn from Verse 16
1. One of the ways to aid in the correcting of our actions to make them
righteous is to have belief in the manifestation of our actions on the
Judgement day. ( نِاتكمثقالّةبح...یأتبهاهّللا )
2. Whether it is the size of the action (َلدرَخ), type of action (َةرَخص) and no
matter where it was done – even if out of sight of others ( ،موات ّالساالرض ),
God has full knowledge and power to bring it forth. ( یأتبهاهّللا )
3. When assessing something, one must also ensure to take into account even
the finest of details and points. ( مثقالّةبحمنخردل )
12. Surah Luqman
Lessons to Learn from Verse 16
4. The actions a person performs in this world will never just ‘disappear’ –
they remain forever. ( یأتبهاهّللا )
5. The system of accounting which God employs is precise as He is Precise.
