2. V. Sreelakshmi
Sreelakshmi’s mother attempted suicide
because of disputes with her alcoholic husband
and harassment by her in-laws. Her father is
addicted to alcohol is a lorry driver. He comes
home once in a month and does not provide for
their daily needs. Mother has 4 daughters and
her head was severely injured due to beating by
her husband. Due to ill-health she is not able to
earn enough to feed the family.

3. Tirumala Naidu
Tirumala Naidu is a ten years boy. Generally, at
this age, everyone will depend on their parents
only. They should look after them because they
gave birth. But the poverty began to crushed his
childhood. Due to lakh of money, they cannot
get healthy food. So his mother during the
delivery time as she is so week she died. His
father alone cannot earn and cook for him. So
he inquired about the safe place where
venkataswamy can get food and studies. He
found JOY HOME and he observed the food
items, discipline, studies in the home.

4. V. Kaveri
Mother works as a daily wage agriculture labour
in Cement Nagar, Nandyal Mandal, Kurnool
District. Her father works as a lorry cleaner,
truck driver, migrant labour. Whatever he earns
he did not spend for the family, but he takes
Alcohol with that money. Whenever he did not
get work he won’t get money to drink so he will
demand his wife for money, but hardly he is
providing normal food to the family. So she fails
to give always angrily he used to beat her
severely and began to sell whatever house hold
things available in that vessels, clothes etc.

5. V. Sumathi
Sumathi parents have four girl children. Both
were daily wage labourers in the agriculture
fields. But her father whatever he earns he
always spends on cheap liquor. Lakshmidevi
also works and gets meagre income. He is
having extra marital relations with other women
in the village. He always beat the wife.
Sometimes she is not able to bare with his
attitude. It is not at all sufficient to feed all the
members in the family at least a time in a day.
She will starve along with her children every
day. She is worrying so much about her children
and their future.
