Seruds started the child welfare programs in the year 2003. During floods in 2009 in AP, we started creche program for kids of women working in hazardous jobs. 1. Helping Orphan Children with Donations in kurnool
G. Revathi : Her father is a daily labourer and mother is a house wife. Her
parents used to work as daily labourers and they had been migrating from one
state to other. As they were migrant labors it became very difficult to take
Revathi along with them. When Revathi was a very young kid they were able

2. to take her with them. Because of her mother’s ill-health, they are not able to
meet her medical expenses and educate Revathi simultaneously. Because of
continuous migration her father’s health is affected. So her parents enquired
about any orphanage nearby. Neighbor had got to know about SERUDS
orphanage and requested them to admit Revathi in the Orphanage. Now
Revathi is very happy going to school, getting timely food, recreation facilities,
evening tuitions, and a good home
E. Lingeswari : Lingeswari is an eleven year’s old girl. Her parents were
labourers. But her father was drunken. He used to spend his earning on cheap
liquor only. So Lingeswari mother suffers a lot to maintain the family needs.
Totally six members are there in the family. Even she cannot provide food
sufficiently to the children then how can she provide money for their
education. The government may provide free education but for books and
other things, she needs money. When she was worried about their studies she
heard about JOY HOME through Mahadev her uncle. She thought her child will
study well and her future will be so nice. So she joined her in the JOY HOME
G. Anitha : Anitha parents were daily wage labourers. Father addicted to bad
habits and not giving any money for the sake of family. So Anitha mother is
always suffrering money for livelihood. Instead of sharing the family burdons
he become angry and began to quarrel always with Anitha mother. Often it is
happening in the house . Anitha mother fed up with him and began to live
separately. Even after that also he did not realize his mistake and continue to
have his bad habits. So it is so difficult to provide the needs of her children
decided to join her in the Joy Home with the help of her elder sister Mary she
joined Anitha in the joy home
D.Madhavi : Madhavi parents were labourers. Morning to evening in the sun
they should break stones. It was so difficult to work. But they get a meagre
income and its not at all sufficient for the family needs. Slowly her mother
health spoiled. With heart disease she died 5 years ago, then father addicted
to alcohol. He is not bothering about two girl children. Later he completely

3. forgot about children and went away from the house. So her old age
grandfather began to look after the children. Due to old age, her grandfather
is not able to take care of her daily needs. At the time he heard about Joy
Home through someone in the village. He visited the Home, satisfied with
home and decided to join both girl children at the home. They get not only
food but also a good education. He understood children future will be bright
because the organizers are sending them to school and appointed a teacher
for study hours. During the study hours, the teacher will help the students
