2. Our Country
Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain.
Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture.

3. Our Town
Marco de Canaveses is a city of the Porto district located in the north of Portugal and crossed
by two of the most important Portuguese rivers, the Douro and Tâmega rivers.

4. Our School

located in the north of Portugal, in
a semi-rural neighbourhood of
about 50.000 inhabitants.
The School Cluster consists of 10
kindergartens, 14 primary
schools and a head school with
primary and lower secondary
school for children aged 9-14.
We are based at the head school:
E.B. 2,3 de Marco de Canaveses.

We are on the 5th
grade and our main
subjects are Portuguese, Maths, History,
Geography, Sciences, Arts, Music,
Citizenship and Physical Education.
We also attend the European Club where
we develop lots of projects like eTwinning
Twinkle and smiLE, Safe Internet Day,
Financial Education and work on lots of ICT
