1. The Story of Demos Helsinki
In 2005 we realised that nobody is looking what megatrends actually mean when they hit our everyday life and
business. We founded a think tank to do precisely that – to bridge the gap between understanding the future and
making it happen.
Today Demos Helsinki is a Nordic think tank, which helps organisations, communities and companies – the society –
to be successful in the long term. We focus on driving change towards Resource Smart Economy & Sustainable
lifestyles as well as Democracy & Capabilities of the 21st Century.
