2. If the Saints Kept Practicing
Plural Marriage
The United States would have sent armies
to the West
Arrested all of the Brethren
Torn down the Temples
Possibly much bloodshed
3. But that Would
Frustrate God's Plan
God's plan cannot be frustrated, so He would
intervene, and that would likely result in the
destruction of hundreds or thousands of
non-believers. Crippling The United States
of America, which He worked so hard to
liberate and bring up during the
Revolutionary War.
5. If the Saints Stopped Practicing
Plural Marriage
United States has no reason to invade the
West
The Brethren are free to raise their families
and lead the Church
Temples remain, giving Sealings and
Endowments to the saints
Peace
6. But what about Salvation?
God would have no need to intervene, thus
the people are spared, and can be taught
through missionary work.
The Sealings and Endowments will
strengthen the saints
During the Millennium or through the
temple, those saving ordinances can still
be performed
7. Conclusion
Having stopped the practice of Plural
marriage was the actually the greatest way
for God to try and save as many people as
possible. Thus, though it is a necessary
ordinance for Exaltation, God has the end
goal in mind, and we can wait.
