2. Platform that Connects you to a Doctor
• MyWebDoc allows people to reach a
doctor through a digital platform
that allows the user to book an
appointment for a video consultation
• It is the ideal solution to the busy
professional and people who can’t
move
• It eliminates the usual long wait for a
GP appointment
• We know that more and more people are
using medical technology gadgets to monitor
their health so we have integrated this into
our platform
• Patients can connect their device and input
their health data into our platform. Using our
health analytics engine, we will reveal all the
mysteries within their body.
• You can access a doctor
24/7, anywhere and
anytime
• Easily get prescriptions
and sick leave notes
from your doctor.
3. Our Process is Easy
3. Consult
with your
doctor
1. Register
on our
website
2. Book an
appoinment
• Our website is our platform;
after registration the user will
gain access to a calendar of
appointments available
• The user can then book an
appointment at a time
suitable to them
• At the selected time slot the
chosen doctor will consult the
patient via our platform
• We realise that the patient
might have missed or forgotten
some of the doctor’s
recommendations. So after the
video consultation, the user has
access to a record of the video
consultation for 48 hours
• Prescriptions can also be issued
from the doctor via our
Platform
4. Future Problems
• The whole service depends on
good internet connectivity, it is
vital that the platform is
optimised to run efficiently as
possible on low bandwidth bad
internet connections
• There needs to be a backup
service built i.e. telephone
access to the doctor in case
internet connection is damaged
or not working
• System training might be
required for doctors which will
increase expenditures
• If a patient is misdiagnosed by a
doctor relevant legal safeguards
need to be built to protect
MyWebDoc from lawsuits
• Some doctors will be sceptical
to this service given they can’t
physically consult the patient
making it difficult for a doctor
to give an accurate diagnosis
• There could be potential legal
issues given that sensitive
patient data is stored
• A competitor could easily
replicate the service provided
meaning customer loyalty is
utmost important, a loyalty
programme will need to be
implemented
• Confidentiality agreements will
need to be signed with Skype
as MyWebDoc uses their
servers to conduct the video
consultations and patient
privacy needs to be sacrosanct.
