2. The Purpose of Our Time Together
To set direction for education in our district.
We are going to collaborate to co-create answers
to three questions:
1.What do we feel students need to know and be
able to do for success in the future?
2.How will we know? What evidence will convince
us that our plan is working?
3.What actions will we take to help students get
there? How will we respond when students are not
learning?
3. Recap of the First Two Days
• Our own and each others’ thoughts, input from our
community, and what research says about what
students need for the future
• Our ideas shown through the Medicine Wheel and
Howard Gardner’s Five Minds
4. Our Objective of the Day:
Finding the evidence that will convince us that our plan
is working.
