Survive the Cut
Survives
1.Scientist: The scientist survives the cut purely because of his high-intelligence and problem
solving capability when it comes to much needed information, such as the greenhouse and seeds
needed for food.
2. Army Officer: The army officer will survive because he is trained in emergency medical care,
as well as basic survival techniques, and can thrive in Spartan conditions. Even an impaired
officer will be beneficial.
3. Doctor: The doctor will live because he is capable of providing advanced medical care, as
well as use his intelligence for other needed survival techniques.
4 Five Year Old Girl: The girl is needed to survive to repopulate the earth as well as be young
so she doesn’t really remember her mom being killed off.
Dies
1.Priest: He will die because this is no time for religion, rather more science.
2. Married Couple: These two will die because they are drug addicts, and as a result from their
life choices they are likely to be lazy and stupid.

2. 3. Mother of the girl: She will die because only four can survive, and she was fifth on the list of
importance. She has no real right to die, but she does not bring anything to the table.
4. Elderly Woman: She is too old to keep up and will be unable to perform the work needed to
keep society flourishing.
5. Disabled Person: Will die because of the fact that they are disabled and unable to perform up
to standard.
6. Lawyer: Yes, he would be needed to enforce laws of the new civilization, however in order
to keep a civilization alive a lawyer has no business in that. Someone else can perform his duties.
7. Lazy Welfare Dependent: He will die because he is lazy, as simple as that.
8. University Professor: Since it did not specify what he was a professor in, taking a chance on
keeping the professor around is too high, if he was a botanist he would be considered to live,
however for all I know he is a sociology or philosophy professor, something definitely not
needed.
