Summary of Past Engagements
We are a strategy and operations consultancy offering “trusted
advisory”, “programme management”, and “management
development” services.
Trusted 3rd-Party Advisory
Independent and informed counsel, foresight, cross-functional know-
how, industry expertise, and global awareness in business, operations,
technology and organizational areas
We have over two decades of experience in Business Transformation
(strategy & operations), focusing on expansion/consolidation to re-
vector a business, turn around under-performing business units, or
operations streamlining for scale-up or improved efficiencies.
This includes Executive Governance frameworks addressing multiple
stakeholders, cross-functional alignment for joint decision making,
and proactive monitoring and (re-)alignment for Performance
Assurance.
We help our clients in the development of a business case and
roadmaps with detailed execution plans for implementation,
coupling this where necessary, with formal Management Assessments,
using our proprietary mentoring and coaching methodology to
develop executive capabilities and competencies, and proactively
back-filling our role to assure a smooth transition on exit.
Thought Leadership
Add value in established and mature business scenarios, or increase
the value in new business ventures and investments
Clients find our expertise and long years of experience to be of
practical value in ensuring that agreements are not only legally
sound, but also operationally viable and sustainable.
Our experience in the specific area of Commercial Deal Structures is
of specific relevance where these are aimed at strategic partnerships,
JVs or business spin-offs.
Our commercial expertise includes Consolidation of Intellectual
Property (IP) & Assets to exploit under-utilized or dormant assets and
leveraging IP for capital or revenue opportunities.
At the same time, we keep an eye on Enterprise Risk Management,
conducting business and operational due-diligence, core capability
evaluation and capturing key success factors (esp. in M&A contexts.)
2. Contract Training
Fundamentals, commercial drivers/implications, operationalisation of
legal terms and conditions, negotiation approaches/tactics, and risk
mitigation/management
We conduct workshops (1 - 5 day sessions) focusing on the topics of
structuring and executing large commercial/supply agreements that
give solid grounding to client-supplier relationships in strategic
sourcing, covering the end-to-end contract management lifecycle
(development, negotiation and management of effective
commercial contracts.)
Workshop format can be generic (several clients in a room) or
tailored (several functions from the same client in a room) across a
range of topics that are relevant for both procurement and in-house
legal teams.
Dispute mediation & pre-litigation management
Re-casting customer/supplier relationships into mutually equitable
arrangements with a shared vision
Our entry proposition could be as legal/operational experts to
establish Contract Compliance, introducing formal verification and
validation mechanisms to achieve targets against measurable KPIs.
We could also advise our clients on Strategic Relationship
Management, helping them identify and manage opportunities for
creative “win-win” scenarios in potentially contentious situations, in
order to avoid litigation. We also take over formal Program
Governance, introducing transparency, accountability and
alignment across business units, cross-functional teams, and cross-
border geographies.
