4. Takeout suction catheter using sterile technique

5. Disconnect Airway Do gentle suction

6. After suctioning flush the tube. Throw into correct dustbin

7. Take out another catheter for oral suction

8. Throw into correct dustbin

9. Kindly Ensure
• Wear gloves
•Use Separate catheter for both suctioning.
•No Continuous suctioning for more the
15- 20 Seconds at a stretch Otherwise
may lead to -: Bleeding.
Cyanosis.
Restlessness.
•After suctioning not to throw suction
catheter on the floor.
