Sales Order Cash Sales Item Fulfillment Body Media BI – Adding Intelligence to the Business Amrish Singh	           Shantnu Chandel Chitra Sharma	           Sumeet Ganju Saurabh Shrivastava Objectives Abstract  - Creation of a Data Warehousing application using Body Media’s operational data to demonstrate      how data can be integrated and correlated across different functional domains   - Analysis of KPIs for Quality, Marketing and Finance  - Implementation of KPIs critical to Body Media’s business  - Correlation of data across different functional domains  - Easy to configure system to generate ad-hoc reports  - Utilization of open-source technologies Founded in 1999, Body Media, Inc. is a pioneer in developing wearable body monitoring systems that are designed to help people lose weight, improve performance and live a healthier lifestyle. It desires a business intelligence system to generate a dashboard of key performance indicators. The system shall gather data from multiple financial and operational systems into a data warehouse to present the KPIs on a daily basis. Body Media’s executive staff meets weekly and reports on KPI. Currently, these metrics are generated semi-manually by merging reports from various systems through spreadsheets, etc. These reports are suspect to human errors and severely limited in depth and scope. The system would be used to provide more reliable and diverse KPIs to make weekly business decisions. The system would also be used to analyze different problems / questions on an ad-hoc basis.
