period of time by renewable resources. Achieving zero energy is an ambitious yet
ever more achievable goal that is gaining momentum across geographical regions and
markets.

Solar energy is a viable and readily available source of electricity for addressing long-term energy
shortage challenges, among other alternative energy options. Due to the high demand for energy, the
solar industry is developing steadily throughout the world while major energy sources, fossil fuel, are
limited and other sources are expensive. This has become a tool for developing countries to improve
their economic status

10. Features
Power production from solar cells to reduce the electricity usage
Block heat energy from the sun
Temperature-controlled - Using temperature sensor the arduino sense the temperature and
closes the shades when temperature is too hot . When the the temperature becomes cooler
the system automatically opens the shades.
Light-sensitive - Automatically closes the shades when it's dark outside during night

11. Future Improvements
Making mobile application
This app helps you to remotely open and close your smart solar blinds, provide feedback updates and
check your screens, too. Additionally, the solar driven shades have a feature that facilitates the shades
automatic rotation according to the angle of sunlight.
