Components of SCM
Supplier – That provides goods/services
Retailer – Medium to reach the goods to the customers
Customer – At the end consumer

Two types of transaction between the supplier and the retailer: Automatic and Manual
Automatic – The system does itself in case of conditional statement
Manual – The Buyer does the task of receiving goods from the supplier
POS - Point of sale (also called POS or checkout, during computerization later becoming electronic point of sale or EPOS) is the place where a retail transaction is completed. It is the point at which a customer makes a payment to the merchant in exchange for goods or services.
EDI - Electronic data interchange (EDI) is an electronic communication system that provides standards for exchanging data via any electronic means.
