When Harriet Tubman was born she was born into
slavery. At the age of twelve she was severly injured. She
was hit by a two pound weight. It contacted her head.
Harriet Tubman suffered headaches and Sesers the rest
of her life. Harriet Tubman was born in 1820. She married
a free black man named John Tubman in 1844.

At the age of twenty nine Harriet Tubman was married
and wanted to escaped slavery. She wanted to escape
after her master died. So she did but her husband
stayed. She took her brothers with her until they got
half way and her brothers dragged her back.

Harriet Tubman created the Underground Railroad. It
was meant for slaves to pass through and get to the
north side of the United States. It was a safe house for
slaves and it was also ninety miles long. She also
became an American abolitionist. She was very brave to
lead slaves through the underground railroad.

her life. Like being born into slavery and and escaping
