Robert Wiene
Robert Wiene (27 April 1873–16 June 1938)
He was an important film director of the German silent cinema.
Former stage actor, writer and director, graduate of Vienna University, who
first worked in films from 1913.
Had a reputation as a director of melodramas
Wiene escaped Nazi persecution by seeking exile in France, where he
died in 1938.

slavery, war and terrorism.
He is considered one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of
cinema. He is also one of the founders of DreamWorks movie studio.
