Payment Agreement
Thank you for choosing to join C&K by enrolling in one of our kindergarten services. The ongoing viability
of your child’s C&K kindergarten service relies on the prompt payment of fees.
To confirm your child’s enrolment please complete and return this signed Fee Payment Agreement,
DebitPro form and Enrolment Offer Letter.
If you have any questions regarding C&K’s fee policy, fee schedule or this fee payment agreement please
contact your service director to discuss.
Fees
Please read and understand the C&K Policy FIN08 Fees.
Fees are set by the C&K Board and you will be invoiced at the start of each term for your child’s
kindergarten term fees.
C&K services are closed on public holidays. However, fees are still payable if your bookings fall on public
holidays.
If your child(ren) are absent from the service for whatsoever reasons, including but not limited to illness
or exclusion due to an infection and / or vaccine preventable disease or illness, the fees are payable.
Enrolment Fee

To secure your child’s enrolment, you are required to pay a non-refundable, one-off enrolment fee using
DebitPro. The enrolment fee payment will be deducted from your account after C&K receives the
completed DebitPro form.
Confirmation of your child’s enrolment is made upon receipt of all documents as stated in the
Enrolment Booklet and payment of the enrolment fee.
Payment Method

The preferred payment method is DebitPro. With DebitPro, you can choose to make payments on a
weekly, fortnightly or term basis. A DebitPro application form is included in each enrolment pack. Please
complete and return the DebitPro application form with the signed Fee Payment Agreement.
Alternatively, you can pay by BPAY. However, you must pay full term fees in advance and payments
must be received within 14 days of the commencement of the term.

Payment Preference (please tick one)
Please indicate your preferred method of fee payment by choosing one of the options below :
Option 1 Upfront full-term payments by DebitPro
If you choose this option the total amount of each term’s
fees will be deducted from your nominated account or credit
card on a Friday, within 14 days from the start of term.
Option 2 Weekly payments by DebitPro
If you choose this option a weekly fee will be deducted from
your nominated account or credit card every Friday.
Option 3 Fortnightly payments by DebitPro
If you choose this option a fortnightly payment of forthnightly
fees will be deducted from your nominated account or credit
card on a Friday every forthnight.
Option 4 Upfront full-term payments by BPay
If you choose this option the total amount of each term’s
fees must be paid withing 14 days from the start of term.

Please read and understand the C&K Policy FIN05 Fee Collection.
If your family’s financial circumstances changes at any time, please immediately notify your service
Director who will work with you and C&K Accounts Receivable team to determine alternative payment
options. Acceptance of alternative payment arrangements are at the discretion of the Chief Finance
Officer (CFO) at C&K Central.
Debt Recovery

Non-payment of fees may result in your child’s enrolment being cancelled.
If fees are outstanding upon the departure of the child(ren) from the service, the outstanding debt
remains payable to C&K.
C&K reserves the right to take action to recover debts owing to us. The cost of recovering any debts
owed (including legal fees) to C&K will be added to the outstanding debt owed and will become a debt
payable to C&K by the parent/guardian.

Withdrawing Enrolment

Two (2) weeks’ notice, in writing, is required if your child(ren) withdraw from or cease to attend a C&K
Kindergarten service. Where less than two week’s (14 days) notice is provided, two week’s fees
in lieu of notice will apply.
Bank Account Details for Fee Refund
C&K will transfer any refunds payable to you to your below nominated bank account. You are
responsible for the accuracy of bank account details provided and any consequences arising from
your failure to provide us with accurate bank account details or failure to notify us of any changes to
those bank account details.

I/we acknowledge that the kindergarten program offered by this service is partly funded by the
Queensland Government, with the balance of funds coming from fees paid by parents. I/we
acknowledge that the service is not able to operate without the fees paid by parents/guardians.
I/we acknowledge that fees are payable to this service. I/we agree to pay the fees for my/our child(ren)
as listed above to attend the service listed above subject to C&K policies and and Queensland
Government regulations.
I/we understand that my service may be entitled to receive subsidies under government funding
schemes. I/we understand that it is my responsibility to provide the required documents to receive the
subsidies (e.g. valid health care card/pensioner concession card and proof of birth to the service). It is
my/our responsibility to provide updated details if my/our eligibility lapses. If eligibility lapses then I/we
acknowledge that fee reduction will no longer apply to my account and I/we are responsible for the full
payment of fees.

I/we understand that Government funding may change, which may result in fee subsidies being changed
or no longer available. I/we understand that where Government fee subsidies change that I/we are
responsible for paying any resulting outstanding fee balance.
I/we understand that when my/our child(ren) are absent from the service for whatsoever reason,
including but not limited to illness or exclusion due to an infection and / or vaccine preventable disease
or illness that fees are payable by me/us.
I/we understand that the service is closed on public holidays. If my regular booking falls on public
holidays, the fees are payable by me/us.
I/we acknowledge and understand that when my/our child(ren) is not collected by the agreed pick up
time I/we will incur a late fee. I/we will not be eligible to claim any Government subsidies for any late
fees charges.
I/we agree to pay fees by the due date, in accordance with the fee payment preferences selected above.
I/we acknowledge that if the fees are not paid within one (1) day of the due date, a first reminder will be
sent/emailed / SMS/ given to me/us.
I/we acknowledge that if the fees are not paid within seven (7) days of the due date, a second reminder
letter will be sent/emailed / SMS/ given to me/us.
I/we acknowledge that if the fees are not paid within fourteen (14) days of the due date, a final demand
letter will be sent/given to me/us and my child’s enrolment will be suspended.
I/we acknowledge that if the fees are not paid within twenty-one (21) days of the due date, my child will
no longer have a place at the service and legal action will be taken to recover the debt owed. I/we
acknowledge that we understand that the cost of recovering any debt owed to C&K by me/us will be
added to the debt owed and will become payable to C&K by me/us.
I/we acknowledge that a minimum notice period of two weeks (14 days) applies to cancel my/our
child(ren)’s enrolment and that fees will be charged for this notice period, whether the child attends the
service or not.
I/we acknowledge that should my child(ren)’s enrolment at the service be terminated it is at the total
discretion of C&K as to whether my/our child(ren) will be re-enrolled at any C&K service.
I/we acknowledge that unpaid fees constitutes a debt owing to C&K, regardless of whether I/we remove
my child(ren) from the service or whether my child(ren)’s place at the service is suspended or cancelled.
I/we agree that if our financial circumstances change and I/we are unable to pay as agreed, we will
immediately notify the Director of the service who will work with Accounts Receivable to determine an
alternative payment arrangement.
I/we understand that C&K reserves the right to change fees when necessary.

I/we acknowledge having read and understood C&K’s Fee and Fee Collection Policies, which sets out the
obligations. I/we must abide by regarding fees and fee payment.
I/we acknowledge and understand that the fee payment and collection obligations contained in the Fee
Payment Agreement and the services it relates to are also subject to the C&K’s Enrolment Agreement
contained in the Enrolment Booklet which I/we will be signing separately and once signed, agreed to
abide by.
