• Verisimilitude is a philosophical concept that
distinguishes between the truth and the falsity
of assertions and hypotheses.

Titanic : some people have a disbelief of the story in titanic for a few reasons…
• She tried to kill themselves aboard the Titanic which is unlikely.
• You can be certain that there were no evil bad guys like Billy Zane and David Warner firing
weapons on board the ship.
Little things like that lose the verisimilitude and make the story seem less believable. Because
of their flaws in the storyline.
