This document discusses methods for selecting reliable payment gateway components. It begins by introducing metrics for analyzing payment gateway web services. PRISM and fuzzy classification techniques are then applied to a dataset of web service components. Thirty two attributes are considered in the fuzzy classification. Linear mapping and Theil indexing are used to identify the most reliable component by comparing the results of the initial and fuzzy classifications. The document evaluates several past studies on classifying and selecting web services components, noting the quality of service metrics achieved in each. It proposes using both PRISM and fuzzy classification with the goal of achieving reliability in component selection.
