HISTORY OF ALL GLOBAL PANDEMICS
Plague- The great plague of Marseille(1720-1723) the
disease started spreading in Marseille,francein
1720,killing a total of 1,00,000 people.as per
estimates,up to 30 percent of the population of
marseille is expected to have perished due to the
plague.
Cholera- The first cholera pandemic (1874-1824) it is also
known to have began in the city of calcutta and spread
throughout southeast asia to middle east, eastern africa
and the mediterranean coast over the time.hundreds of
people died during pandemic.this pandemic affected
almost every country in asia.
Spanish flu (1918-1920)- it is one of the deadliest
influenza pandemic humanity has over witnessed.while
500 million people fell victim to spanish flu, many
indigenous communities were pushed to the brink of
extinction.as per estimates, the death toll is put anywhere
from 17 million to 50 million.
Coronavirus pandemic (2019-2020) – the virus was
unknown until the outbreak began in wuhan, china in
december 2019. so far,the global death toll from the virus
has neared 50,000.the virus can spread from person to
person through small droplets from the nose or mouth,as
the droplets land on objects or surfaces around the person.
INTRODUCTION :
What is immune system ?
A coplex network of cells, tissues, organs, and the
substances they make that helps the body fight
infections and order diseases.
functions of immune system:
1) Prevent pathogen from entering.
2) Eliminate pathogen from the body.
3) Provide memory against future infections
from same pathogen.
AIM :
1) To study global pandemics till today and also
effects of these diseases on our immunity.
2) To develop taskforce on covid-19 and also
other diseases ,by improving our immunity by
following the guidelines of ayush
mantralay,ayurveda and other medications.
Guidelines of covid-19
HAZARDOUS EFFECT OF ALLOPATHY:
Allopathic treatment and management include oxygen
therapy, intravenous fluid infusion with life suffort in dangerous
cases. It is alsoadvisible to contact a medicinal practitioner if the
flue like symptoms prevails.HIV protease inhibitors and nucleoside
analogs may be operative to treat COVID-19. Acombination of
lopinavir and retronavir, previously use for SARS-COV AND MERS-
COV,may be useful.China is doing clinical trials of
remedesivir, which was developed for the ebola virus.
Reversible side effects of REMDESIVIR-
Severe headache,
Fast,slow,or pounding heartbeats,
A light-headed feeling,like you might pass out,
Abnormal

Spending time with family members including children and elderly
people , involvment in different healthy exercises and sports

traditional and social media can all help to overcome mental health
issues.
HOW TO BOOST OUR IMMUNITY :
1) Maintain a healthy diet.as with most things in
yourbody,a healthy diet is key to a strong immune
system.
2) Practise meditation,yogasana,and pranayama.
3) Drink herbal tea or decoction of holy
