What is a subsystem?A subsystem is a system within a larger system.Can you think of some example of subsystems?

Propulsion The propulsion system provides the force that moves the vehicle toward the destination.Example:  Engine and Transmission
StructuralStructural systems accommodate a vehicle’s cargo and form the basic framework of the vehicle.Examples:  Chassis and Body
SuspensionThe suspension system supports the weight of a vehicle as it moves down a pathway.Example: Shocks, Wings, and Tires
ControlControl systems control speed and direction of a vehicle’s path. Examples: Steering Wheel and Brakes
GuidanceGuidance systems provide information concerning the control of the vehicle.Examples: Maps and GPS
SupportSupport systems are used to maintain vehiclesExample:  Garages and Gas Stations
