Light It Up Blue – Austism Speaks
INSIDE THIS ISSUE Autism is a general term that is used to describe a complex group of
1 “Light It Up Blue” developmental brain disorders. It affects 1 in 110 children (1 in 70 boys),
making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and
2 Volunteer pediatric AIDS combined.
Appreciation
Ceremony Many of us have been touched by Austism in some way. Show your
3 BINGO – Disney Trip support on 1 & 2 April. Here are a few ways to “Light It Up Blue” -- you
Give-a-way can wear blue clothing, change your porch light bulb, or download the free
Light It Up Blue iPhone app.
Blue light bulbs are being sold by Home Depot
stores for $1.65 with $1 of each bulb being
donated in support of Autism.
