3. wish+subject+past perfect ( ójala+suj.+hubiera/ hubiese...) Use : To express regret that something happened or didn't happen in the past. Eg:*I wish I had studied harder. *He wishes he hadn't eaten so much. *I wish your flight hadn't been delayed *I wish you hadn't abandoned me.
