5. 2. PDF IACS PACK
- If your SAF was submitted online last year we will not send you a pre-
populated SAF 2012 or copies of the Integrated Administration and
Control System (IACS) guidance in the post.
- You (or your agent) will, however, be able to view your pre-populated
SAF 2012 and all the IACS guidance in Rural Payments Online from 15
March 2012.
-The following slides will show you how to do this
Note: The pre-populated SAF data sheets, SAF base form and LMO base
form are for information only. You should contact your local area office for
a blank pack if you do not wish to submit online

Note: all IACS guidance can
be viewed by clicking on the
‘Guidance’ link.
11. 3. ‘Please Wait’ message when system is busy
Previously it was not always obvious when the system was busy retrieving or saving
information. We have added a new onscreen message to inform the user when the
system is busy performing an action. The user will typically see this message when
saving changes or navigating to a new section.
12. 4. Turnaround of Common Grazings
If you submitted Common Grazings online in 2011, you can use the ‘Turn around
Common Grazing’ button to fill in the Common Grazing section. If you submit
Common Grazings online in 2012, you will be able to use this feature in 2013.
13. 5. Changed order of LMO Quality Assurance and New LMO sections
Certain selections in the Quality Assurance section are carried over to the New Land Manager
Opt section. In previous years, this meant having to go back a stage to check that the
options had carried over.
14. 6a. Improved documentation - View/Print screen layout improved
Check box and button layout redesigned and simplified
15. 6b. Improved documentation - Documents now display prominent titles
Previously it was not always easy to identify a document from the front cover. This was of
particular inconvenience to Agents when dealing with a large volume of documents from
multiple clients. In response to this, we have added prominent titles to the front page of the
documents.
16. 6c. Improved documentation - addition of new Submitted Claim Summary doc
Available immediately after the claim has been submitted, we have added a summary
of the complete claim to view instantly.
17. 6c. Improved documentation - addition of new Submitted Claim Summary
The Submitted Claim Summary contains the following:
• Confirmation that the SAF has been submitted (date and time)
• Summary of total land declared (split by LFA and non LFA)
• Confirmation that you have or have not claimed LFASS
• Confirmation that you have opted to be paid in either Euros or Sterling
• Summary of any Common Grazings claimed
• Summary of any LMO new and/or continuing commitments claimed
• Summary of any RP Annual Recurrent Options claimed
18. 7. Redesigned submit page
The Submit page has been simplified and the email receipt option is now more
prominent.
19. 8. Warning message when submitting claim
The below message will be shown when submitting the SAF12:
One the the SAF has been successfully submitted, the message will clear and the
usual Claim Submission - Confirmation message will be shown:
