2. Analyze Learner
Learners are students in a fourth grade class of twenty. There are eight
female and twelve male students, 80% of students are from high socio-
economic families while 20% are from low socio-economic families. There are
three students with learning disabilities. All students are capable of reading
and writing. Students are familiar with classroom technology such as
computers, and have access to them at home. Students mostly consist of
visual and verbal learners. Students are familiar with some parts of the
skeletal system however, they are unfamiliar with some function of bones,
bone joints, insertion of bones, and are unable to identify bones.

What makes up a bone, tissues in bones
Bone health and maintainance
4. Day by Day
Day 1: Students will learn about bones through digital imagining, KWL charts,
and an informational video
Day 2: Students will learn about identifying bones of through WebQuest,
Digital Story Telling, and poster
Day 3:Students will learn what bones are made of through a second
WebQuest, Arts and Bots Project
Day 4: Students will learn about bone health through blogs and use zello at
home to ask questions
Day 5: Students will complete study guide using Wikispaces and then will be
assessed on material covered
