This article focused on the study of a model that link multicultural training, ethnicity and multicultural counseling competence among school going counselors. The results showed that, white and ethnic minority schools counselors experienced the lowest Multicultural counseling competence when subjected to a limited color-blind racial attitude.

This articles sheds light into what led to multicultural counseling after in depth examination of European American, African American and the Latino students. The result of this research showed that, there is a higher multicultural counseling and competence among Latino students than African America and their European American counterparts. However, the study showed no difference between in the multicultural counseling between the European American students and the African American Students.

results showed that, there is high association between color

behaviors regarding cross-cultural counseling was examined.
The results of the study showed that, multicultural counseling

In this article, a national survey was conducted about counselor
trainees to determine what influence multicultural competencies
in an integrative educational perspective. The results of this
study showed that, clinical supervision and counseling with
more non-white produced high scores of multicultural
competence.

Abstract
There are trends in multicultural counseling. People of different
cultures are not likely to seek counseling services. The
distinctions and differentiations in cultures and values make
other people shy away from counseling s they always think that
they may not be understood. In a number of occasions, there is
always lack of access to the services. There is also the aspect of
lack of trust in the counselor as a result of the views of white
males by those of the other cultures. These issues surrounding
multicultural counseling are viewed in the ethical perspective.
Shame is also a factor and it is accompanied by the stigma of
seeking counseling since many feel that their cultures may not
feel that they are going to the extreme. Therefore, as per the
8. research, these are just some of the reasons why difficulty is
experienced in serving multicultural populations. Counselors
have the challenge of adapting a variety of different counseling
styles and interviewing in order to serve clients from different
cultural backgrounds. They should hence be cautious not to
focus on the client values as well as maintain cultural
sensitivity.
