1. THE CRUST’S MOVEMENTS
Litosphere: all the rocks and minerals on the Earth’s crust and
upper mantle. It is always moving, slowly.
Tectonic plates: Huge areas of rock under the ground. They
make the continents and can by high or lower, under the seas
and oceans. The Earth has seven major plates.
Fault lines: places where the tectonic plates meet.
When plates bump into one another, can cause: earthquakes and
tsunami.
