2. I found this picture interesting to shoot
because I like the facial expression of
a forced smile. The smile looks empty
which I like so it shows her innocence
has gone. Holding the teddy in front of
her is another thing I liked because it
can symbolise the fact it is
representing her and controlling her. I
like the idea of having a long shot
because I feel it shows everything
relevant within the picture. The mise
en scene is interesting with her hair
messed up and her make up making
her look pale with dark eyes; bruises
and cuts. I also ensured she stood
side-on from a window in daytime so
that the use of natural lighting would
only come in on particular parts, which
shows a clear contrast which I like.

4. This photograph and the following
pictures are another set that I like.
The expressionless facial expression
is one I like because I think it makes
Zoe look as though the teddy has
taken her personality too as well as
adapted her physical appearance.

8. The rest of these photographs are all random
shots with different facial expressions (e.g.
sinister smile, expressionless, empty, laughing,
innocent smile, straight-face). They are a variety
of close ups and long shots because after
research, they were the most commonly found
shots I found were used within horror genres. I
also used different stances such as standing up
and sitting down, and also asked Zoe to hold the
teddy bear in different positions such as in front
of her or to her side, but always with the teddy;s
face facing towards the camera.
