• Standard units are also known as Metric
Units of measurement.

• It is the measurement of an object from end to
end.
• Length measuring tools are Measuring tape, Ruler

Metres(M) into Centimetres(CM)
• 1M = 100CM

10. Addition of Length
• To add, arrange them in the correct columns of
units and then add them separately.
• Example: Add 3m 32cm and 4m 7cm

• To subtract length, arrange them in the correct

separately.
• Example: Add 39m 54cm and 81m 89cm

• It is the measurement of heaviness of an object.
• Weighing balance is a Weight measuring tool.
