1. My Future Essay
Every since I was a young girl I have been always asked by, what do you wanna be when you grow
up? I know some people that change their minds every week of what their future hold for them and
how they are gonna live through it. The future is changing every second of our lives, everything
single thing that we do affects what our future hold for us. All my life I have been determined on
one thing in my life. I have always wanted to become a doctor no matter what. I know that there is
nothing that is gonna change my mind about that. Technology has helped many people with what
they do at their job, however it has also harmed their jobs also. All my life I have been in and out of
hospitals. Every since I was born I had some problems that I had to face. Thanks to all the doctors
that were there for me, that helped me become the girl that stands today, I get to live my life in
peace. I had told myself from that day forward that I was gonna become a doctor or a nurse and help
as many people as I can. I have always loved to help people in need. I hope that one day that I can
save someone's life as someone saved mine.If I had to pick one role model that I looked up to ,I
couldn't. That is because I admire and idolize every single nurse and doctor there is in this world
that help keep people alive and safe every single day.
I want to do many things in my future. As well as being a doctor who helps people, I want to live
life and just be there. The future is

2. My Future Essay
The future is always on the mind. Where would I be in ten years? What do I see myself doing
career–wise? What college do I want to go to? And finally, the question that has been haunting me
for the past 2 years, what major do I choose that'll determine the rest of my future? Throughout high
school, several choices came across my mind. In the beginning of my high school years, I considered
being a teacher, but that quickly changed because I realize that I don't want to be in this hell hole
that is a school for the rest of my life. The following years a couple of other careers popped up in
my head, artist, filmmaker, writer, teacher again, and nursing. Finally, senior year came and I
was chosen to take an amazing opportunity to work at a news station because for the past three
years I had taken a Film and TV class. When I was present with the opportunity to intern at the
news station, I wasn't even sure if I want to do it because it just seemed really boring and
uninteresting to me. My close friend Jill encourage me to take the opportunity because she was
also chosen for the chance to intern there as well. Seeing that I wouldn't be alone in this endeavor,
I took the leap at the chance and plus I had found out that this would also be a paid internship. A
week before my birthday, I had found out I got the internship and that the following week I would
be starting the job with my Jill, and Carlos another student in my class who got the internship. The
two had been really

3. Five -Year Plan Essay
Five–Year Career Development Plan
MGT/431
March 24, 2011
When developing a good five year career plan I had to ask myself where, I wanted to be in five
years. This question would be critical for my future. When I was in school in thought, I knew my
career path. I was convince I was going to become a nurse. As years past, I found myself moving
away from nursing and interested in teaching. However, my transition would not be as smooth as
once believed. According to Career vision, (2004), "for some people, the five year career plan may
be a plan to prepare them for another job, for others it may be a plan to develop skills used in their
current job. The five year plan is very much an individual plan, and is to be used solely...show more

I am repeatedly informing my older child of how important it is to go to college and obtain his
degree. When I complete my studies I will be able to show him the journey was not easy but
obtainable. Another goal for my five–year plan is to be debt free. While in college I have many
student loans that I need to pay off. I want to completely pay off my student loan debt in five
years or less. I believe this task can be accomplished if I stay to my budget plan. The benefits of
paying the loans off early would help me with interest rates, and it will also help me increase my
credit score, which will help me when it is time to open my husband and me restaurant.
Promotional Opportunities Upon completion of my bachelor's degree program, I will try to seek
employment with my hospital human resources department as a generalist. I currently work with
staffing and with a bachelor's degree in management; I believe I would be ready to move up to a
higher level. The transition from staffing to human resources I believe would be smooth, because I
am familiar with the hiring process and I am also knowledgeable with dealing with outside staffing
agencies.
Career Management According to Career vision (2004), "Career management is the lifelong process
of investing resources to achieve your career goals. Career management is not a singular event but a

4. My Future Essay
The future is uncertain, but I know one aspect of my future that is crystal clear; my future will
always consist of learning. I believe the quest for knowledge never ends because there is always
something beyond the eye's visible horizon to discover. Therefore, I plan on constantly inquiring and
investigating about the unknown because my desire for knowledge will never be completely
satisfied. Beyond high school, beyond college, I will still be listening to lectures, completing
assignments, performing experiments, and searching for answers because my hunt for information
does not stop once I complete my formal schooling; my education will continue.
This persistence of mine stems from my parents. My parents always insisted that my sisters and I
focus and succeed in school because they never had the privilege of continuing their own
education. Additionally, my father diligently worked during the day while we attended school
and my mother painstakingly worked at night while we all slept. Seeing them work strenuously
each and every day just so my sisters and I could get ahead inspired me to work harder in school.
This, however, was easier said than done. In kindergarten, I feared to raise my hand and ask
questions. I was afraid of saying something incorrectly because I primarily spoke Spanish; I had to
thereafter learn English while I attended school. Therefore, I regularly kept to myself, silently
puzzling over words that I did not understand. This caused me to be incredibly

as still to come. The future is what we work for we got school and work to have good future. My

that's one of the reasons why am here at CI is to get an education that will help me find a career with
a good job that is going to pay enough to support me and my future family. My future dream job is
to be the CEO of a company, but I know that it will take while to get there so I am planning in

my life and teaching me how to deal with the difficulties of life. The quality me of my future life
is going to be a good one because I am going to achieve my goals and surround myself with people

some obstacles that taught me lessons about life. One of the factors that has helped contribute to my
life choices is my mother. I have a close relationship with my mom, whenever I have something that

6. My Future Essay
My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the
common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical
questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the
factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and
continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future.
Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something
greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard,
allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the
imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and
vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My
parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it
despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to
my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is
extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in
dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life
have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives

7. Welding Future Plans
I believe that hard work pays off in the long run. Therefore, I have decided to write my paper on my
plans for my future. The career I want to pursue requires hard work, sweat, and pain. "You've got a
lot of very, very smart people standing by waiting for somebody else to do the work. Not a recipe for
long–term solvency in my opinion," as Mike Rowe put it ("Mike Rowe Quotes", BrainyQuote). I
want to pursue the profession of a construction worker. I will go to a trade school to learn all I need to
be successful in my future. I feel as I have went throughout high school not enjoying all the
paperwork, but I have noticed I enjoy the things that are hands–on. The hands–on work has made me
feel as though it is useful for my future career. This is...show more content...
According to Scott Mosby, president of Mosby Building Arts, "Spending for residential
remodeling and repair climbed toward its peak of nearly $285 billion before the Great Recession.
About 2 million workers left residential construction in wake of the downturn" (Clapham 40).
Therefore, there is a need to draw more people to these skilled professions. This has been a hard
task, because of the perception of the quality of skilled jobs. Michael Smith, co–founder and
executive director of Colorado Construction Institute, explained, "The perception of construction
labor as an undesirable profession also needs to change if people expect to alleviate an aging
workforce anytime soon. Schools and families must acknowledge a stigma of the trades and
understand the long–term career opportunities within construction" (Clapham 43). A lot of people
may look down upon my aspiration of going to a trade school and pursuing a skilled career.
However, statistics show that the skilled careers are in high demand, mainly because of how they
are viewed. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had at Blackfoot High School and the other
various jobs, where I have learned the skills needed for construction work. Therefore, I can graduate
feeling prepared and ready for the future. I have decided that I will go to a trade school so that I can
learn more. Trade school will also help me compete in the market for a job that I will enjoy and make
