2. Welcome to AWARDS U 2020
As CEO of Foothold Technology, I am thrilled to welcome you to our 13th annual User's Conference.
We started our User's Conference to celebrate, teach, and have fun with our customers. This year's
conference looks very different from the first 12, but our goals for today are exactly the same.
While we will greatly miss seeing you all in person, we have a great day of content in store for you.
We hope that this conference provides you with a well-deserved reprieve from your standard
schedules, and we hope that you can bring back useful information about AWARDS to your
agency. We also hope that you will share your feedback with us, since we have never conducted a
conference in this format before. We genuinely want to know what worked and what did not.
Thank you for all that you do - especially now. We are so proud to be your partner, and we are
excited to spend the day with you!
Sincerely,
Tyler Hoffman,CEO
4. Virtual Conference Tips & Tricks
• For your best experience at AWARDS U, we highly recommend you install the latest
version of the Zoom Client for Meetings app and join from a desktop or laptop
computer. You are not required to sign up for a Zoom account in order to use the app.
• We also highly recommend that you join the Zoom sessions about five minutes before
the scheduled start time. This will give you a chance to ensure that your registration is
valid and to test your audio.
• For attendance purposes, you will be asked to fill out a Zoom registration page for
each session you attend with your name and email address. After you submit the form,
the webpage will display a link labeled Please click this URL to join. (A copy of the
same information will be emailed to you.) *This link is unique to you and should not be
shared.
• Because Zoom registrations cannot be shared, please be sure to use the same email
address that your agency used for you when buying tickets for the conference.
• The conference is not utilizing the Zoom meeting/webinar ID feature. Instead, please
use the Zoom registration pages linked to each session (above).
