Educational  Philosophy What I will bring to Library and Information Science and to SLIM, ESU “ I am committed to student learning and believe that educators are important role models. I also believe that to engage students, I must actively seek to connect my curriculum to tangible and real-world events and experiences. To maintain an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident, I will use constructive guidance and positive reinforcement. I feel it is also necessary to establish and clearly define reasonable limits with logical consequences. Students will be encouraged to take ownership in shaping our learning dynamics through openly sharing their work, ideas and personalities that will enrich their peers and foster their intellectual development.”

I also believe that to engage students, I must actively seek to connect my curriculum to tangible and real-world events and experiences. To maintain an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident, I will use constructive guidance and positive reinforcement. I feel it is also necessary to establish and clearly define reasonable limits with logical consequences. Students will be encouraged to take ownership in shaping our learning dynamics through openly sharing their work, ideas and personalities that will enrich their peers and foster their intellectual development.”
