Designation: Tender Sourcing Project Manager – Sourcing for Tenders and Projects.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for optimization of the supplier base into a select group of proven high quality suppliers and
strategic partners relationships. Work closely with all levels of management within the Company to
determine needs, develop strategies and plan and provide procurement sources in support of those needs.
Proven, ten years of experience in manufacturing, sourcing, purchasing, and cost-estimating.
To manage the Sourcing activities:
*Present most competitive Tender Sourcing Plan/ Project sourcing plan to the tender-bid/Project
teams.

a. Tender Phase – As a Tender Sourcing Manager
1.Tender planning :
-Define in close collaboration with Commodity Managers, Technical Team, Supply Chain and SQA
the Sourcing QCD at tender phase
-Understand the tender conditions and the items required to be quoted by suppliers.
2.Supplier identification:
-Identifies and proposes suppliers to the commodity team for Tenders
-Organizes supplier qualification plan for the Tenders
3.Tender cost commitment:
-RFQ suppliers and complete best possible negotiations.
-Develop tender negotiations strategy and identify actions to 'bridge the gaps' in the tender
commitment.
-Enhance localization through supplier identification, qualification and landed-cost analysis.
-Deliver Sourcing QCD commitment to Tender team.
-Tender negotiation plan Sourcing activity & performance
4.Reporting :
-Prepares and publishes tender sourcing plan with consensus of Commodity managers
-Prepares and publishes localization plan for the Tenders & Projects
-Prepares and maintains reference libraries for use in future tenders and projects.
b. Project Phase - As a Project Sourcing Manager
1. Project Planning :
-Ensure project QCD status of the project with weekly reports.
-Implement reverse planning, define budget and sourcing milestones for project
-Lead the open issue list and risk list inside the Project. Send and escalate alerts as per need.
-Review periodically the Work Packages (WP) with Project Team
-
2.Sourcing
-Complete all sourcing activities (supplier selection, RFQ, Negotiation) as per project plan.
-Complete the sourcing activities in line with the commodity strategy and in close collaboration
with global commodity managers
-Define project savings strategy, tracks savings and communicates it to the project manager and
global team.
3.Supplier identification:
-Investigate new suppliers in accordance with project needs and qualify the suppliers along with

the SQD team
-Define supplier strategy and built a panel of strategic suppliers.
-Responsible for supplier relationship until the completion of the project.
4. Contract Agreement Negotiation with Telecom and IT Suppliers with Back to back contract
and legal terms and conditions.
5. Coordinates with supply chain and project team to ensure the availability of installation
materials and support escalations.

Medium Data Centre) projects – DS3 division.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for optimization of the supplier base into a select group of proven high quality suppliers and
strategic partners relationships. Work closely with all levels of management within the Company to
determine needs, develop strategies and plan and provide procurement sources in support of those needs.
Proven, eight years experience in manufacturing, sourcing, purchasing, and cost-estimating.
• Have sourcing & procurement experience in such as: strategic sourcing, global sourcing, all building
services including Electrical (External and internals works like Transformer, HT Panels, LT panels,
Distribution boars, MCB/MCCB,Cables,cable trays, earthing, Lighting etc.), HVAC (PAC, Chillers
and Low side works) Civil Interior works (For Date centre projects), Fire fighting, FM 200, CCTV,
Rodent, ACS, IBMS, PA System etc & Service, DG and DG Low side related package.
• Sourcing and Procurement also involves for IT units as well which includes Decktop and
accessories, Laptop and its accessories, Mobile/Blackberry, Chargers, Memory cards, hardware and
software products.
• Bid/ Tendering support for Electrical and IBMS projects to bag and book order in the system.
• Handling the third party materials procurement for in house manufacturing products.
• Procurement Services: Involved in activities like RFQ, offer receipt, Evaluation of Vendor Packages,

various equipment and items by studying the single line diagram & preparing the Bill of

 Schedule Follow-ups on Prebid & Negotiation Meetings: Attending all the Pre bid
and Negotiation, Techno commercial meetings to give a exact requirements of the
customers either Commercially or Technically.
 Finalizing the Orders: Up to attending the final meeting to finalize the orders and
attending kick off meeting to start the execution and make understand the execution team
for the exact requirements.
 Marketing: Further to this work extended up to marketing where it involves contacting
and searching the new clients for a new projects through web sites, meeting the
consultants, follow up with clients regularly for the new orders.
 Co – ordination and communication :Starting from the quoting to for the project to
getting the orders work involves the good co ordination and communication between

client, consultants, architects, all supplier’s/Vender’s and after getting the order the work
involves co ordination with internal in finalizing the suppliers for the procurement with
procurement team and then with the site execution team.
 SAP (System Application Protocol) - Project Schedule (PS) and Material
Management (MM) Module: Working in SAP with PS & MM module to break the
detailed project component (BOQ) as per the Material procurement Schedule. Whereas
procurement will start as per the break up given in PS module in SAP.

• Procurement: Formulation of long & short term strategic procurement planning.
Procure materials from Domestic and international venders. Proposal evaluation, cost
effective purchase with timely delivery.

continues basis.
