Sept 2008 . Present Lloyds pharmacy Hub Warrington Commenced role as an ACT in 2008 in Lloyds off-site
dispensary hub which is the largest dispensary nationwide. I check prescriptions that have been scanned and
uploaded to our system directly from various pharmacy branches and am currently checking around 900 items
per day. My responsibilities include overseeing and checking the work of a large team of pharmacy dispensers
and technicians, identifying and correcting dispensing errors strictly in line with Sop's and guidelines prior to
dispatch' I work in a fast paced, time pressured environment constantly working to deadlines whilst retaining
utmost accuracy. other duties include helping label and dispense when short staffed, checking EMAR which
is for nursing homes, checking CDs trays, ordering of consumables and also assist my colleagues with their
NVQ coursework. I am also the current fire warden in my workplace.
Nov 1991 - Sept 2008 Nash pharmacy Bolton ...whilst at Nash Pharmacy I undertook an array of duties. I ran
the dlspensary ordering consumables, specialist items, generic stock, stock control and kept records of all CDs
that had been returned and assisted in thelr safe disposal or destruction. I worked on the counter providing
customers with knowledge and advice, ordered oxygen and sent off relevent forms to PCT, endorsed and filed-
prescriptions then sent to PPA for pricing' I labelled, dispensed and assembled prescriptions and dosette trays
before undertaking my ACT exam which I sucessfully completed and progressed in my career to checking
prescriptions for approximately two years
