What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?

2. Mac
Firstly I learnt how to use a Mac, i’ve never used one, so it was
quite difficult to get into it.
I learnt the really basic like turning on the computer, and logging in
to my session.
I learnt how to open new tabs and the key notes to copy and
paste texts.
I learnt how to save a document and then how to open it.
I learnt how to transfer documents from my usb to the mac and
how to move them to my desktop so it would be easier to find
them.

3. iMovie
I learnt :
How to use iMovie, by editing and uploading videos.
How to move clips around, cut them, edited them and save them
to make a new project.
How to add soundtrack to a various or just one clip.
How to change the exposure, lighting, contrast and other things
to make the video look better.
How to do ducking, which is lowering one piece of sound when
another one comes in.

4. Microphone
I’ve never used a directional microphone before so i
learnt everything about it, how to plug it into the
camera, how to put the batteries on it, how to turn it
on and to always put headphones into the camera to
make sure the sound is working.
I also learnt to put the wind sock when you’re filming
outside, to stop having noises in the background.

5. Tripod
In general i learnt how to use all the
functions of the tripod, how to use the
extendable legs and how to put the camera
in the top part of it and also to extend the
legs to adapt to the terrain I was filming on.
It improved my shots because it made them
look still and my shots looked a lot better.

6. Edublogs
I learnt how to make new posts, add photos and
videos. Also i learnt how to embed links to different
websites in order to show my research.
I also learnt how to use various other websites, like
WIX, which helped me to create a website, as well as
using things like glogster to create an online poster
and Prezzi to create an online presentation. I learnt
different creative techniques from these websites.
