Project Description:
The project named "Bayer" encompass all of the technology and facility-related components or activities
that support the projects and operation of Bayer’s Global Data Centers, which is an environment that
provides processing, networking, management and the distribution of data within an enterprise
Roles & Responsibilities
• Currently Leading US region in Bayer project.
• Working on TSM and backupexec
• Working on all the client related issues, mail chains, TDP client’s related backup issues.
• Configuring the OS,SQL(cluster),& Domina Client Backups.
• Registering Client Nodes to proper Domain and Associating to Schedules, Defining domains, policy set,
management classes, copy groups.
• Maintain Retention Policies depending on the client configurations and requests.
• Working knowledge on TDP’s (Oracle (RMAN), SQL, Domino, Backup Troubleshooting on SQL,
Oracle.
• Define and Check Client Schedules, Admin Schedules (check the Missed/Failed and Trigger Adhoc
Backup), {starting Scheduler Services on clients, troubleshooting and fix issue}

• Reporting the daily missed and failed backups of the nodes and working on them based on the Incidents
related to them.
• Complete health checks of TSM SERVERS.
• Worked on the HPSM Ticketing Tool. (Incidents, SR(service request), Change ( Techplan, follow up on
approvals), Problem( RCA – root cause analysis, and follow ups, work on transferring to PR mgmt team).
