4. Alex Forrest Fatal Attraction
The Mistress
Sly False
Promiscuous Two faced
In Fatal Attraction, Alex
appeared sweet and
innocent, yet had a very
psycho side to her. We
showed the psycho side to
our mistress at the end of
our opening, when she
stabs the fiancée.
We chose to dress the
Mistress in a provocative
way to tell the audience
more about her character.
In Fatal Attraction, Alex
also dresses in provocative
way, so we got inspiration
from this character.
Alex wants to kill her
lovers family so that
she can have him all
to herself.
Low angles are used a lot for
both Alex and The Mistress to
show power and dominance.
When talking to the
Fiancée, straight
angles are used to
suggest that both the
Mistress and the
Fiancée are on the
same level, however
as the flashbacks
continue throughout
the opening,we know
that the Mistress is
hiding a lot and is not
as sweet and innocent
as she makes out to
be.
