This document discusses waste management and recycling. It begins by outlining the waste management hierarchy of reduce, reuse, and recycle. It then defines what materials are considered recyclable, including paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, food waste, tires, concrete, and glass. The benefits of recycling are listed as reducing pollution, conserving resources and energy, reducing deforestation, and saving money while creating jobs. Examples of recycled waste gardens and artwork are provided. The document concludes by discussing NK Operational Areas' waste collection bins, waste segregation process, food waste composting, and emphasizing that individual efforts towards sustainability count.

3. • If we do not invest in proper
mechanisms and processes now to
minimize the harm we do to the
environment, it is going to be too late
and all future generations will be
affected by the inconsiderate practices
of the current and previous generations.
• With recycling, a substantial portion of
our waste can be broken down into their
original elements and be used to
produce new materials.
