Save the Earth
“Recycle!”
What is Recycling?
 Recycling is the separation and collection of
materials that have already been used , and
then processed and remanufactured into new
products.
 Aluminum, glass, paper and steel are the most
dominant resources that are recycled.
 Recycling is: Reducing the amount of waste;
Reusing products to extend the life; and
Recycling is the physical process to gather
material to be used to help conserve natural
resources
Recycle using the 3R’s?
 Reuse:
Reuse plastic cups, utensils, plates, and bags;
use washable towels for cleaning and spills
instead of paper towels.
 Reduce:
Buy and use less; choose products that use
recycled packaging; buy concentrates instead
of diluted beverages; buy in bulk.
 Recycle:
Separate recyclable items from trash and
dispose at recycling plants in your
community.
What affects does recycling
have on our environment?
If we don’t recycle this will be the future of our
Earth
