There is a safety recall of certain hard-wired combination
smoke & carbon monoxide detectors sold between
December 18, 2013 and May 13, 2014. The alarm may fail to
sound after a power outage. Call Kidde toll-free at

The affected model numbers are: i12010S and
il2010SCO with sealed 10 year batteries or the
KN-COSM-IBA which uses AA batteries. They are also hard-wired
into the home’s electrical power. Replacements are
