Knox Schools’ daily cafeteria menus are online
During the school year, starting Aug. 2, cafeterias in all Fort Knox schools serve
nutritious breakfasts and lunches. Daily menus are available online at
www.am.dodea.edu/knox/fkcsco/Pages/FoodService.htm and posted in each cafeteria.




Give feedback on DoDEA graduation requirements - The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is
in the process of revising the minimum graduation requirements necessary to earn a high school diploma.

The Command Information Exchange (CIE) convened July 31. Minutes from the meeting are attached and
documents presented during the CIE can be found on Army Knowledge Online (AKO) at

The next CIE is scheduled for Aug. 28 at the Saber and Quill. The CIE will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last

Knox Hills is scheduled to sponsor a Swap Meet/Flea Market on Sept. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Keyes
Park. This event has been created to allow Knox Hills residents an opportunity to sell personal items nor-
mally sold at post-wide garage sales in one convenient location. Knox Hills will also be providing a DJ,
snacks, water, and bounce houses as entertainment to patrons in attendance.




ANDERSON POOL TO BE CLOSED - Anderson Pool will be closing Monday July 23 through Oct. 1 to complete
several facility projects. While Anderson is closed our entire operations will be moved to Gammon Pool (with
the exception of Wednesdays to allow for military training). See schedule below for more info about our fa-

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT CARUSO YOUTH SPORTS AND FITNESS
        Sign-ups for football, cheerleading and soccer until Aug. 6. For more information, please contact the

   Challenger Soccer Academy (6-8 week program beginning Aug. 27)- Ages 2-14 years old. Professional
               British trainers provide players with advanced instruction and training. Prices and times varies
               by age.


   FAMILY CAMP @ YMCA Camp Piomingo - Oct. 6-7. $40.00/person. Children under 5 FREE. Families will
               spend the night and enjoy your favorite camp activities. Activities include archery, pipeline
               slide, and pony rides!


   Preseason Basketball Camp – Oct. 29 – Nov. 2. (6 to 8 p.m.) BOYS and GIRLS ages 7 & up Cost is
               $70.00/participant


   Preseason Volleyball Camp – Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, (6 to 8 p.m.) GIRLS AGES 10-15, $70.00/participant


   WINTER CAMP @ YMCA Camp Piomingo – Nov. 30 to Dec. 2 (AGES 7-16) $94/child includes
               transportation. Offers overnight fun for the holiday season.



Sign up now for The Rugged Maniac which be held in Paoli, Indiana, on August 25 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The
event is a six-mile race on a rigorous course full of mud, obstacles, and challenges. Equipment, guides, in-
structions, and snacks will be provided. The cost is $80 per person. Register no later than August 10 at ITR

Children can read to a therapy dog at the Barr Memorial Library on August 4 at 1 p.m. for Puppy Tales. Par-
