11. disulfarm
Disulfarm is usually given to alcoholics at a
dose of 500mg tablet/day and subsequently
125 mg tab/day.
It inhibit the alcohol dehydrogenize enzyme at
second step.

12. As a result , Acetaldehyde concentrations in the
blood build up to level up to ten times greater than
normal.
As a result faces become hot and flushed .
This flushing quickly spreads over the rest of the
body.
These after the drinker experiences dizziness, fall
in blood pressure, head ache, nausea and vomiting.

13. These effects initiated with less than 2
teaspoon of alcohol may last from 30 min up
to several hours .
At the end of this time, the patient is
exhausted generally goes to sleep.
It is mainly used in hospitalized patient under
strict supervision of practioner.
