These trends can be within demographics, regulatory, technology, health/medical, compensation, customer and the workplace. That is why it is so important for Human Resource Management personnel to keep current with current events that would affect a company or organization. Find and report on a current event or external report that a Human Resource department may be involved. This can include a recent situation or case involving possible harassment, discrimination, ethics or safety that employees would need to have additional training. During the course, four different current events reports will be due. Each report will include: 1. A summary (paragraph) about the article, do not copy and paste 2. Source cited 3.
