A user’s guide to Click and Collect
at the RNCM Library
This guide is designed to help you use the Click and
Collect Service
For information about returning items to the Library,
please see the end of this Powerpoint
If there is anything you would like help with, please
Email libstaff@rncm.ac.uk
We will be happy to assist you
The RNCM Library is now open to
provide a Click and Collect service.
Before you come to the RNCM Library, you will
need to reserve any items you want to take out.
Unless you have reserved items, you will not
be able to access the Library.
To reserve items, access the Library catalogue at
http://catalogue.rncm.ac.uk and log in to your account
You can access your Library account from any page of
the catalogue by clicking Logon in the top right hand
corner, or from the main page “My Account” section.
Your username is your RNCM ID card number. Your
PIN is a 4 digit number. Please ask Library Staff if you
do not know your PIN
Search for the item you wish to take out on the Library
catalogue, then click on “Reserve Item” from the main
catalogue page
Or from the full catalogue record for an item,
click on “I want to…. Reserve item”
Click on “Make Reservation”
You will see a message that asks you to
confirm your reservation
Items reserved before midnight which currently have the
status IN LIBRARY should be available from the next
working day.
Items reserved which are currently ON LOAN will be
available 2 working days after the item has been
returned. This is to allow for quarantining of returned
items in line with Government Guidelines.
When your item(s) are ready to collect, you will
receive a Reservation Collection Notice by email
Once you have received this email, please book a
Library collection slot on Asimut. Without this booking,
you will not be allowed access to the RNCM.
Collection slots are available during normal RNCM
Library opening hours.
When collecting your Library items, please observe
social distancing measures, wear a face mask and use
the hand sanitizer available at the Library entrance.
DO NOT attend the RNCM Library to collect or return
items if you have any symptoms of coronavirus,
however mild.
When collecting your Library items, please arrive at
the Library as near to your collection time as
possible. If you arrive at the Library more than 15
minutes after your allocated time, we may not be
able to admit you
You can use your swipe card to enter the Library,
observing social distancing rules. You will be
directed to your Click and Collect items.
Once you have collected your items, please leave
the Library as soon as possible.
Thank you for helping us keep the Library safe.
The RNCM Library Click and Collect service will be
available at the following times:
Vacation:
Monday to Friday 09.30 to 16.30
Term Time:

Box in the Library
door.

you have found it useful
