The document describes how the narrator's uncle Peter was mugged and shot in the head in an alley in 1997, leaving him in a coma until being taken off life support 3 days later. The narrator was later born and named after his deceased uncle Peter. The perpetrator was never caught, and the family still feels the lasting emotional impact of the violent crime and loss of a loved one over 20 years later.
2. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and
three on the west.
The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of
the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city,
its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was
wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia [or
1,400 miles!] in length, and as wide and high as it is long [1,400 miles wide and
tall!].
The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits
[that is 200 feet!] thick.
The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.
My film features heaven, so I've had to research what I want my heaven to
look like, and so far I've found two descriptions, an atheists description, and
the Christian description. Here's a break down of the two;
3. The Christian representation of heaven is very specific and
very grand. Heaven is this immaculate place filled with
unbelievable riches, a stronghold of the lord. I then went
through to see if any artists had attempted to create a
visual interpretation of this and found this piece of
artwork;

Here you can see the literal image of heaven
represented by an artist who was following
the exact description of the bible. Something
like this could be achieved in my film by
doing a CGI technique called “matte
painting”.
4. This is the end - heaven
Most Hollywood films represent heaven with
lots of clouds, white everywhere and just
incredible buildings. As you can see in the
photo, heavens an incredible place, with parties
and fun buildings everywhere, like
rollercoasters. This here is a comedy's
interpretation of the heaven, but the basic
stereotypes are still there.
Constantine - heaven
You can see same as above, clouds
and beautiful scenery. Also you can
see beautiful earthly landscapes,
which I quite like. Same as before
everything's high key and unnatural
almost.
5. Atheists don’t believe in heaven right? wrong. They don’t believe in
the bibles version of heave, but understand that there may be
somewhere we go after death, a spirit world almost. Research shows
me that the basic thoughts they have represents Constantine (the
image before). A beautiful world, impossible almost, typically seen
like a tropical island.
6. Here is some artwork
found that interprets the
atheists idea of heaven.
A literal paradise,
somewhere beautiful
where one can relax in
death.
Once again a
paradise similar to
earths scenery, but
not on earth.
An impossible
kingdom, doesn’t
feature the typical
white wash and clouds.

8. On the 8th of august 1997 my uncle peter, was walking home one day when he was
pulled into an alley to be mugged. After being mugged he was shot in the head, the
bullet when through his mouth and out thtough his temple area. Doctors were on
scene soon and he was kept alive with life support, but in a coma, if he awoke, he
would have been nothing but a vegetable, so 3 days later all life support systems
were switched off.
2 years later I was born and named peter, in memory of him.
I tell you this because my parents have had a first hand experience of losing a
loved one to violence involving crime, so I know what sort of emotions come
through the most.
They never caught the perpetrator and still have no idea who he is, but still to this
day my grandmother prays to him, still shocked at her loss.
Death has a long lasting impact on everyone around, one that lasts a long time. A
post in a while will be me talking to my grandmother about the experience.
