2. Leadership coaching
Leadership coaching is needed today more than ever as a critical tool
for organizational change. Change is essential for organizations to grow
and adapt to today's rapidly shifting marketplace, yet people and
organizations are naturally resistant to change. Leadership coaching can
facilitate productive change in persons, teams, and systems by enabling
leaders, managers, and employees to uncover potential that might
otherwise go untapped.
3. Executive leaders
Just as professional athletes work with a personal coach to refine and
improve their game, many executive leaders work with an executive coach to
give them, their teams, and their companies a competitive edge in their
game. Executive leaders who tap the talent and expertise of a personal coach
reach their goals faster; solve many complex problems more effectively;
become more open, transparent, and focused on the critical actions that lead
to improved performance; increase their ability to focus on important goals
and the right behaviours that strength corporate culture; and become better
leaders.
4. The Institute of Coaching is raising the bar on executive coaching by
funding leadership coaching research, coaching researchers, and
corporations for an annual think-tank on how to maximize the impact of
executive coaching.
